Auto-Disable function
Auto-Disable Functionality for High-Usage SIM Cards
The Auto-Disable function is available exclusively for high-usage SIM cards (Green profile). It is designed to help you control costs by automatically disabling your SIM at the end of the calendar month.
How it works
When the Auto-Disable function is enabled:
Your SIM will automatically disable between 21:00 and 00:00 UTC on the last day of the calendar month.
This means your SIM may stop working up to 3 hours before midnight UTC.
The SIM will remain disabled until you manually re-enable it in the next month (and optionally re-enable Auto-Disable again).
Requirements
The Auto-Disable function can only be enabled if your SIM is currently enabled.
If the SIM is not yet enabled, first enable it to see the Auto-Disable toggle.
If you manually disable your SIM after enabling Auto-Disable, the Auto-Disable setting will be cleared. You’ll need to enable it again if you re-enable the SIM later.
Timing
The Auto-Disable function is triggered only by time, specifically in the window between 21:00 and 00:00 UTC on the last day of the calendar month.
It does not activate when your data bundle is used up
Example
You enable your high-usage SIM on June 16th. The system calculates the remaining days in June and charges you proportionally:
15 days remaining / 30-day month = 50%% of the plan
You receive 5 GB, and $5 is deducted from your balance
If you activate the Auto-Disable functionality, your SIM will be disabled automatically between 21:00 and 00:00 UTC on June 30th, avoiding unexpected charges on July 1st.
Best Practices
Enable Auto-Disable early in the month if you want to avoid rolling into the next month unintentionally
Keep in mind that manual disable actions remove the Auto-Disable setting
Use this feature to stay in control of costs, especially if the SIM is used in devices without direct monitoring.
