Data Roaming
Overview
Data roaming is a feature that allows a mobile device, to connect to and use a wireless network while traveling outside of its home network coverage area. When a mobile device is in a location where its home network is not available, it can connect to a foreign network provided by another wireless carrier to access the Internet and other data services.
Data roaming works by allowing the mobile device to register with and use the foreign network as if it were its home network. When the mobile device connects to the foreign network, it establishes a connection with the foreign network's mobile switching center, which is responsible for routing calls and data to and from the device.
Data roaming is enabled on all our SIM cards, but it can be restricted based on the rate plan you assign to a SIM card.
It's important to note that some devices require you to explicitly enable data roaming. Make sure that data roaming is enabled on your device if you are using our SIM cards.
National Roaming
National roaming is a feature that allows mobile network subscribers to use the network of another mobile operator in areas where their own operator does not have coverage. This allows subscribers to stay connected and make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, and access data services even when they are outside of their home network's coverage area.
National roaming is typically offered by mobile operators as a way to improve the coverage and service quality of their networks and to ensure that their subscribers are always connected. It is often used in rural or remote areas, where it can be more challenging to provide reliable coverage, or in areas where the subscriber's home network does not have a presence.
National roaming is typically enabled automatically for subscribers who are outside of their home network's coverage area, and it usually incurs an additional charge. The terms and conditions of national roaming, including the fees and charges, can vary between operators and may depend on the specific plan or contract that the subscriber has.
In some cases, national roaming may be limited to certain types of services or may be restricted to specific operators. It is important for subscribers to understand the terms and conditions of their national roaming agreements and to be aware of any potential charges or limitations that may apply.
